VERDICT: Runner-up over 2175m before winning like a good thing on the short course a month ago, Machucambo (10) takes on a better lot this time but still looks good enough to double his money. Back to a more reasonable category, Make A Dream (8) has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for the first time which could well be key to his redemption. Maestro Jamini (7) prepared for this on Christmas Eve and returns to the long course with David Thomain back in the bike. Magic Love (1) has done everything right so far and is not out of contention.
