VERDICT: Promising juveniles take each other on in the opener. Comic Relief was eye catching on debut, winning as she liked, and could be the stable-elect over her three stablemates. Siesta Sunset, another precocious daughter of Querari, could be anything after she took over with a strong finish in her first racecourse visit. Watch out for Highveld raider Porridge Boy, an Erupt colt that should relish the distance after a fair 800m debut. Captains Envy beat Holds The Key by a neck but the latter settled better in his last start and could be a bigger threat.
