VERDICT: Dynamic winner over course and distance on Christmas Eve, his first start for Alexis Grimault, Hold Up Pece (2) again starts in front and should be able to wrap this up. He will still encounter opposition from second-row starters, the consistent Iquito Planchette (11) who ran 2nd to him that day, Ixelle Bleue (14) whose recent Cabourg run was better than the result would suggest, and Fifty (12) who ran 3rd to Franck Blandin's horse early last month.
