VERDICT: Tawalla has to be of interest given his connections and encouraging efforts over 7f in November. However, this sharp 5f could catch him out and preference is for the very well-handicapped Thunder Of Niagara. It is a concern that the seven-year-old has finished last on both starts this campaign, but the return to this C&D may well bring about plenty of improvement. He wasn't disgraced in some quality sprints here last season and he could be thrown in off 90, given he was rated 106 a year ago. His poor efforts recently have come in cheekpieces and the reapplied visor is another positive. Split The Profit and Al Muzn give their connections a strong hand, while Sky Hawk should not be discounted.
