VERDICT: Arabian Light is an intriguing prospect on his handicap debut having beaten some useful rivals impressively in novice company back in the UK. However, a mark of 100 is stiff enough and preference is for Galen, who progressed well in Ireland last year. The son of Gleneagles was a beaten favourite in Group 3 company at Leopardstown in August, but he was not beaten far at all that day and may improve for being gelded. First Conquest is another Charlie Appleby representative to consider, while last year's winner Ouzo has a solid each-way chance.
