VERDICT: Symbol Of Honour did not appear to relish soft ground over 7f when last seen at Newmarket in September. However, his previous second in Listed company at Doncaster and close sixth in the Coventry at Royal Ascot suggest that he could prove to be a class above here. Midnight Thunder disappointed when favourite for the Cornwallis on his most recent outing, but could well bounce back in this company. King's Call may lack the class of the aforementioned pair, but has a recent C&D run to his name and promise can be taken from that performance. Others to note are Jungle Drums and West Acre.
