VERDICT: Higher Kingdom has won three times over this C&D for current connections, including when dropping right down to a career-low rating on his penultimate start. The selection, who was racing off a mark of 80 just over a year ago, was subsequently far from disgraced despite a tardy start after getting upset in the stalls. Cousin Shay also scored on his second-last outing over C&D, while L'immortale ran a cracker when only giving best in the closing stages behind Trishuli River over an extended 1m2f in November. Aljadel won twice on the all-weather for Richard Hughes and has dropped down to an attractive mark after four outings for current connections in recent months.
