VERDICT: Julia Bella (8) has only lost once since going barefoot and that was last time out at Laval. She can go one better this time. Jeff De Monpaz (6) is holding form and should contest the finish yet again. Jewel De Mire (12) has not won since August but was not disgraced last time out at Vincennes and can do even better this time around. Java De Castelle (1) is unreliable but is also another to consider.
