VERDICT: A competitive affair in which Grenham Bay gets a tentative vote. He overcame a tardy start to score cosily over C&D last month and the suspicion is that a 4lb rise may underestimate him. Gundogan shaped better than the bare result suggests when a staying-on fifth over this trip at Wolverhampton last time out and he commands respect off 1lb lower. Big R was too keen when fifth behind the selection latest but, eased 1lb, he could get closer.
