VERDICT: Split Elevens finished a close-up third over track and trip in November and warrants plenty of respect off an unchanged rating. However, the vote goes to Nights Over Egypt, who was closing all the way to the line when fifth over an extended mile here and also goes off the same mark. Jennie Candlish's five-year-old could appreciate this drop in trip in order to make it two wins out of his last three starts. Reputation is another to note.
