VERDICT: Those with experience don't appear to set a lofty standard so it may pay to side with Rebel's Gamble. There is plenty to like about the 135,000gns son of Dark Angel on paper and he gets the vote to score first time up for the in-form Karl Burke team. Macedonian was too keen for his own good when fourth over 6f at Kempton last time out and, on his first start since being gelded, he could make his presence felt. Recent C&D runner-up Stardancer is also noteworthy.
