VERDICT: Paradoxical appeared to appreciate the step back up to this trip when running out a comfortable winner at Lingfield on Tuesday and, turned out again quickly, he gets the vote to defy a 5lb penalty. Khangai has been performing consistently well of late and, on the back of a solid second over 1m6f here last week, he can emerge as the main danger to the selection. Coloane has been knocking on the door and she could make her presence felt again.
