VERDICT: Hurdles winner Inox Allen made a pleasing start to life over fences when finishing a staying-on third over 3m in a warm Uttoxeter handicap chase on his seasonal reappearance and, with the promise of improvement to come, it would be no surprise if he were to land the spoils. Last seen finishing third over 2m3f, this step up in trip should help Roger Pol and he looks the main danger to the selection for the in-form Jamie Snowden team. Cardamon Hill is respected most out of the remainder.
