VERDICT: Mount Mogan is notably well handicapped off 5lb lower than a C&D win 14 months ago, while Sedgemoor, in a first-time tongue-tie, and Star Pupil, who also tries new headgear, are potential improvers to consider. However, Overnight Oats, who has won four of his last five starts, is worth forgiving his latest effort given he was forced to race wide and didn't get a clear run over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. Reverting to 7f and this venue can prove highly beneficial for James Owen's gelding today.
