VERDICT: Hystery Bere was doing his best work at the finish when runner-up over 2m4f here in November and may appreciate the step up in trip in a first-time visor. However, he is on a long losing run and it could pay to take him on with King's Threshold, who is now back on the same mark as when successful over 2m5f at Ascot in March and drops in class. There were some promising signs in Kaituna River's chasing debut second over an extended 2m4f at Southwell and he is open to improvement.
