VERDICT: Aodhan May could be worth chancing, particularly on this slower ground. She won four handicap hurdles between February and April and showed a real fondness for testing going. She was off until unseating over fences in Galway at the end of October, but looks well worth another go off her much lower chase mark. Mahler Appeal is high enough in the weights, but he merited a hike after winning by 12 lengths in this discipline at Wexford in May. Lilian Bland is respected, while The Dooner Citizen would have better claims than most if getting in.
