VERDICT: Henry de Bromhead has said that he is working back from the Gold Cup with Monty's Star and this looks a good starting point for him. There was little to knock about his form in 2024, with runner-up berths banked in Grade 1 races at Cheltenham and Punchestown behind Fact To File and Spillane's Tower respectively. He is ground versatile and has gone well off a break before. His stablemate Minella Indo won this a couple of years ago and he was a very notable third in last season's Grand National at Aintree. Willie Mullins runs four horses, with Classic Getaway possibly the pick of them. His form has been in and out, although he was second in this race last year.
