VERDICT: Crossing The Bar has each-way claims in an open race. He came from a fair way back for fourth in a higher grade over 3m1f at Navan last month which brings him into contention. There are plenty of dangers, though. Read To Return reverts back to hurdles off an attractive mark of 99, while Meehall won over fences at Killarney in August and in a Galway handicap hurdle in October. Juniper Hill showed good improvement when holding on by a nose over a similar trip at Tipperary in November. Not My Problem's best results have been on better ground, but he is in decent nick.
