VERDICT: Joint top-rated Katovice (4) should be able to follow up on a recent course and distance success on December 11th when she was a game-winner. Her main danger could be Le Merlot (1) who will be in a good frame of mind after a facile success at Auteuil in a handicap chase at the end of November. He has placed form over hurdles at this track. Boom Boom Ciao (3) has been a tad below par recently but has contested Graded and Listed races on three of them. Kermillis (6) is also worth a mention.
