VERDICT: Royal Champion is an intriguing stable debutant for the Karl Burke team on his return to the UK after a spell in Australia. Although only 10th in the Group 1 Champion Stakes at Flemington last month, a reproduction of his penultimate second in a Group 2 at Moonee Valley is likely to prove too strong for these rivals. Tyrrhenian Sea arrives on the back of a respectable third in a Listed event at Newcastle and he may give his former stablemate most to think about, ahead of Auld Toon Loon.
