VERDICT: Flaine came out best at Southwell in a duel to the line with Mrbluesky and that pair are hard to separate. The latter's stablemate Hashtagnotions opened his account when fitted with visor at Newcastle and he should have more to offer, but Queen Himiko may edge affairs. Jane Chapple-Hyam's filly has improved with every start and is potentially well treated on her handicap debut having finished a creditable third in maiden company over this C&D last time.
