VERDICT: Excellent when racing with 4 pads, Last Man (10) may not have been seen out for over 2 months but Mathieu Mottier's yard is in cracking form and can keep his course-and-distance record intact. He is still going to face stiff resistance from the promising Lord Du Gers (1) who sports hind pads for the first time, and Loustic De Salomax (3) who has never failed to deliver over the main track. Last of 5 on last month's return to competition, Le Sap (8) has been reconfigured and will be no soft touch.
