VERDICT: Being an habitual slow starter, Bowood is not without risk. However, he counters that with an impressive haul of three wins from six starts since joining Ivan Furtado and looks worth chancing after another bold effort when second in a similar event over C&D. Elle-May Croot gets on well with the four-year-old and her claim is another factor in his favour. Bella Bisbee, a winner over 7f here last time, and the still-unexposed Vibrato are also solid options.
