VERDICT: Musique Maestro (2) was fancied when not quite up to the class of Grade 1 when he finished seventh in the Prix Cambaceres hurdle in mid-November. But he won both of his other races over hurdles and can get back on track in calmer waters today. Astorius (4) is probably the main threat. He blew out last time when failing to finish but won before that at Dieppe in July. Caledonienne (6) won two starts ago at Fontainebleau in October and warrants respect. Belize (7) heads the rest.
