VERDICT: Alpine Sierra scored over C&D a couple of weeks ago and Jim Goldie's six-year-old sets the standard based on that evidence, despite a 4lb rise in the ratings. Sandret hit the crossbar over a mile here and is likely to be in the mix once again. Powerful Response, just a length behind the selection last time, edges out Urban Road to be best of the rest.
