VERDICT: Point-to-point and bumper winner Will The Wise ran a nice race on hurdling debut over 2m at Punchestown. He didn't give his running in a Grade 2 novice over 2m4f at Navan, but connections clearly feel stamina wasn't the issue there as he now goes up in trip by another furlong. Final Demand, entered in a Grade 1 at Naas in early January, won a Lingstown point-to-point in March and is a half-brother to four winners. He merits the utmost respect. Point-to-point winner Freddie's Back is a half-brother to two staying hurdle winners, while Timmy Tuesday, who had a good run on his hurdling debut a couple of years ago, will be fitter for his comeback at Navan.
