VERDICT: Point-to-point winner Mclaurey was well backed when second over 2m4f at Tipperary and gave another creditable display when third over 2m3f at Punchestown. It's interesting that connections drop him back in trip, despite the fact that he has been doing his best work late on, and he gets the vote. Did I Ask You That showed plenty of ability in bumpers and made a nice start over hurdles when placed over 2m6f at Punchestown. The winner franked that form in a Grade 2 here on Thursday. Course bumper winner Shoot The Blues likes it soft and had two good hurdle runs over this trip early in the year. He's been off for 10 months but is likely to be primed.
