VERDICT: James Smith takes a useful 7lb off the back of top-weight Big Debates and he looks to have a big shout in this company. The Sholokhov gelding ran much better back over fences when fourth in the Cork Grand National early last month and remains on the same mark. Weihnachts comes here in winning form, but that was back in April. The Beat Hollow gelding won well at Down Royal, when up in trip, and is capable off this kind of mark. He is one of three in the JP McManus colours. Donkey Years is another to note for local trainer Eric McNamara.
