VERDICT: Walkadina made the perfect start over hurdles at Uttoxeter before backing that performance up with a solid fourth in Listed company at Newbury. Despite giving 7lb to all of her rivals, this appears to be a suitable opportunity for David Pipe's mare before potentially stepping back up in grade. Jena D'oudairies won a Taunton bumper in the spring and is respected following wind surgery, while Blazeon Five was a useful performer on the level and would be very much of interest if transferring that ability to hurdling.
