VERDICT: Jazz King proved to be be a tough customer when he won gamely at Hereford last month. The way he rallied when pressed near the finish in that race was a highly commendable and a 6lb higher mark might not prevent the eight-year-old from following up. Marlacoo is open to any amount of progression and needs taking seriously on his handicap debut after a respectable second-placed finish over 2m here last time out. Diamond Dealer and Chasingouttheblues are others to bear in mind.
