VERDICT: Early Bird represents last year's winning trainer and, being nicely bred, might score on debut. Her trainer operates at a notably high strike-rate and as Early Bird is out of a bumper-winning mare and is by Annie Power's sire, she could be useful. Ufouria finished second to a smart type on debut here in October 2023 - with the third and fifth winning subsequently - and while she disappointed since, it is encouraging connections return her for another bumper. Forceonmyown's form was poor prior to winning a recent point-to-point and has joined a top yard, while Hurricane Bailey was reported to have been 'showing signs of tying up post race' after her January run, but had shown form last Christmas.
