VERDICT: The bumper Old Blue Eyes won at Sedgefield looked a strong race. The second has since franked the form by winning at Catterick and Donald McCain's charge might be a bit of value in the finale up against Dalston Lad, a point-to-point winner who made no mistake on his Rules bow at Ayr in October. Perhaps Fergal O'Brien's horses have started to turn a corner following Crambo's Long Walk success, and point scorer Is This For Real could go well as a result.
