VERDICT: Progressive Dawn Till Dusk displayed a smart turn of foot when running on from well off the pace to win going away over 1400m on the winter course. The switch to the summer track with its longer run-in and this extended distance should suit, so he's good value to follow up under a 4-point penalty with just 52.5kg on his back. Hard-knockers Promettere, Solomons Seal, Prevalence and Willie John have the form and experience to threaten their younger less-exposed rival. Enigmatic The Grey King and in-form King Pelles, even over a distance short of his best, aren't taken lightly. Good race!
