VERDICT: Famoso successfully completed a hat-trick in convincing style at Ludlow three days ago and is quickly turned out under a 7lb penalty. Matt Sheppard's eight-year-old is improving at a rapid rate of knots and doesn't look one to take on just yet. Abaya Du Mathan produced a bit of shock at Southwell last time, but there was no fluke about the manner of that victory so he could get involved. Of the remainder, the in-form Paddy In The Caddy makes the most appeal.
