VERDICT: Not the deepest of contests and preference is for Goodwin Face. A narrow second in a Plumpton novice hurdle in October, Chris Gordon's charge does not look overburdened by an opening mark of 96 and he may step forward now pitched into handicaps. Penna Rossa posted a much improved performance at Wincanton last month and ought to go close if building on that. Greenways heads the remainder.
