VERDICT: A typically open sprint in which only a tentative vote can go to Katie G. Ed Dunlop's filly had excuses over this course and distance last time, but she drops into 0-58 company now and with a good pace to aim at, could offer some value. Smasher posted a creditable second at Kempton earlier this month and he merits respect from 1lb higher. Lingfield winner Poetic Jack can't be taken lightly either, though he will have to break alertly if he's to make all from stall 14.
