VERDICT: Helm Rock gained compensation for a Chelmsford near-miss when he landed a class 4 handicap at Southwell and won't need much of a step forward to follow up off just 3lb higher. Fast Society, who has won two of his three previous starts, is a must for a betting check on his handicap debut. Metallo has been highly tried and is an intriguing each-way option to consider. Kalamunda completes the shortlist.
