VERDICT: Jim Joy (4) would have gone very close to winning if not faulting last time out so could make amends this time around. Jonquille De Via (3) showed improvement in his last run and can fight out the finish. John Steed (15) was not disgraced when third at Toulouse earlier this month and will be unshod and ready to do even better. Jour De Juin (8) faulted last month but is barefoot this time and could be a threat if smart.
