VERDICT: Epic West, who swapped hands for 60,000 euros after winning a point-to-point in March, impressed with a ready success on his hurdles debut at Carlisle last month and is a highly appealing option given his strong physique suggests a 7lb penalty shouldn't be too much of an issue. Touquet, a C&D winner on his penultimate start, can surely do better than he managed at Ascot subsequently and also commands respect. Westerton looks the pick of the remainder.
