VERDICT: There have been more promising signs of late from Giorgio M, who finished fourth over C&D earlier this month. George Boughey's gelding would have been closer were it not for being denied a clear run approaching the furlong pole and he is drawn to produce a similar level of performance. The unexposed Mahato wasn't disgraced over 7f at Newcastle and could find more for the addition of a first-time tongue-tie. Others to note include Dashing Harry and Evocative Spark.
