VERDICT: A comfortable winner on his chase debut at Ascot last month, Bucksy Des Epeires sets the standard on recent form and a 5lb rise for that success could prove lenient. The form of his stable is another plus and he gets the vote ahead of Sea Invasion, who bumped into a progressive type when second on his first go over the larger obstacles at Plumpton. Classic King and Hidalgo De L'isle have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.
