VERDICT: Joyeuse was no match for the winner when third in novice company at Ascot on her return to action, but Nicky Henderson's charge should be spot on for this handicap debut and a bold bid looks on the cards. Georgi Girl made a winning reappearance with an impressive display at Warwick and she can feature in the finish, while Lucy Wadham has won two of the last three renewals, so it would be no surprise to see a big run from Pretending.
