VERDICT: Skyjack Hijack recorded his sixth win on the bounce when landing the odds at Newcastle with the minimum of fuss. The son of Jet Away is likely to prove competitive at this higher level and can continue his good progress. Western Knight is another improving hurdler with solid claims in this grade, having won in determined fashion at Ascot last month, while point-to-point winner Clondaw General made a winning debut over timber at Worcester on his first start for new connections.
