VERDICT: Masterofthedesert stayed on gamely from a handy position to finish 4th over 1200m in his first as a gelding. He would've come on since and needn't improve much over this extended trip to deservedly open his account. Mystic Majesty is open to improvement on his return after a gelding operation so could pose a threat from gate one. Older rival Blame It On Me has the form and experience to play a leading role, especially under 54kg and in receipt of weight from those principal contenders. Unexposed Tripping Thunder and likely improver Boundless Love appeal most of the remainder.
