VERDICT: Kracking lost little in defeat when runner-up over a mile at Kempton and another prominent showing from Stuart Williams' habitual front-runner is anticipated. That said, Con Te Partiro gets the vote to hit all the right notes. Richard Spencer's charge impressed when scoring comfortably over 1m2f at Lingfield and after shaping like he was still in good heart off a 5lb higher mark over that same C&D subsequently, he can return to winning ways now eased 1lb. Detroit Lion looks a fascinating contender on his handicap debut.
