VERDICT: Kado De Joie, who made a winning return in a similar event over the extended 2m1f circuit at Fontwell last month, has a solid chance of following up, with just a 5lb rise in the handicap considered potentially lenient. With ground conditions ideal and the step up in trip also a likely source of improvement, the Nicky Henderson-trained four-year-old has plenty in his favour. The class-dropping Golden Maverick is feared most, although Followango can also figure back over the smaller obstacles.
