VERDICT: Schmilsson was well held in third at Newbury, but this represents a drop in grade and that should aid his cause. Olly Murphy's five-year-old struck over C&D two starts ago and if he can recapture that form, he could prove tough to beat. Yorkshire Lady was successful in a novice hurdle over track and trip in February and has run well on the level since, so it will be interesting to see how she fares on her first start in a handicap in this sphere. Royal King completes the shortlist.
