VERDICT: Clondaw General impressed when he made a winning start under Rules over 2m7f at Worcester in October and, likely to have learned plenty from that hurdling debut, he looks the type who can cope with a penalty. Histrionic, who cost 450,000 euros after winning a point-to-point, hinted at ability in three starts in bumpers and is another notable contender having undergone wind surgery ahead of this first run over timber. Jail No Bail also warrants consideration after a respectable third at Wincanton just over a year ago.
