VERDICT: Luhamba Phambili and Tenango carry 6-point penalties for last-start victories but are progressive. Both have legitimate winning chances, though preference is for the former whose course-and-distance win was boosted by the subsequent Listed success of fourth-placed finisher Lion Rampart. Elusive Winter is 3,5kg better off with a Tenango for a 4-length beating so he should get closer to that rival on these terms. Icy Blast, stablemate Mojo Man and well-weighted Qhawe Lami can get into the picture off reduced marks. Best-weighted Porque Te Vas should acquit herself competitively under the conditions.
