VERDICT: A talented sort on the level and rated as high as 107 earlier this year, Wise Eagle makes his first start over hurdles since finishing runner-up at Catterick in December 2020. The seven-year-old has won here on the Flat four times and the ground should be in his favour as he looks to see off the likes of hurdling debutant Clan Chieftain and Sea Legend, who has undergone wind surgery since his jumping bow.
